Peace

“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst out into song before you, and all the tress of the fields will clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:12)

As we go out in joy, we are led in peace; by holding onto joy, peace can guide us in our ways. Think about the times you may be anxious, frustrated or living in chaos. Your world may seem to be spinning out of control and you just need a moment to sit and be still. The overwhelming peace that can comfort you during this time comes from the Holy Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)

God’s gift to us is the Holy Spirit. This wonderful mystery empowers us to be at one with God. While the world around us might be in utter chaos, the Spirit of God within us bears the fruit of peace. So, I invite you to take time each day to sit, to pray, and to just BE in the presence of God. You were created to do so. And this is where you will find the peace of Christ within you.

See You Sunday!
