Wrapping up Lent

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6)

Here we are at the end of our journey through Lent. Easter is just around the corner! We are approaching the end of the season of fasting, reflection and soul searching. We are about to experience the promise, hope and joy of resurrection! Folks, the sun is about to come out! Accepting this truth will change your life!

As we wrap up our journey through Lent, I invite you to seek out the Easter promise in the very last verse of the 23rd Psalm. God has promised to not leave us out in the cold. Christ has done everything necessary to bring us into the house of the LORD. Forever.

So, if your world seems a little cold and dark; if your journey seems to be stuck in the Valley of the Shadow of Death; if your winter just doesn’t seem to ever end; I invite you here and now to experience the miracle of the resurrection. Come, lets celebrate Easter together this Sunday!
