Light in the Darkness!

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Global pandemic, economic uncertainty, forced isolation and constant rain. That’s quite enough I think. How has life taken such a turn? For that, I have no answer. But I pose a different question. What will be our response to this madness?

We have a choice to make today. Will we sit in fear or move in faith? I’m not good at sitting still and fear is not my favorite emotion. So, I propose we move in faith! Here is what I propose.

1.      Pray – Ask God what you can do to share his love with others today.
2.      Study – Open your Bible. Study, asking God for guidance and peace.
3.      Connect – Call, text, message others. Check on them.
4.      Give – God will give you someone to help. Respond to God’s call.
5.      Share Hope – I am going to put my Christmas lights back up. I saw this idea online and I love it!

We are the Body of Christ. We are called to be the light of the world. I can’t remember a time when the world needed light this urgently! Friends, God is at work in this uncertain time. You have a choice to make today.

Peace of Christ be with you,
Missy

P.S. Put those Christmas lights back up!
