Cooking

I love to cook but baking is just not my strong suite. When I was a kid learning to cook I loved to bake anything that came from a box. But when I ventured out into the world of recipes, well, that was just a mess. I once tried to bake sugar cookies and left out the vanilla.

It was such a tiny amount of vanilla! But it made all the difference in the world.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

Paul told the church in Corinth that they were all necessary ingredients in church. God gave them each specific gifts and each gift was needed in order to be the Body of Christ in this world. This is still true today. All are needed. It makes all the difference to the world.
