Light

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness (chaos) was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved (hovering, brooding) upon the face of the waters (chaos). And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3)

In the beginning, God hovered and brooded over the chaos and spoke light into the darkness.

In Egypt, God hovered and brooded over the people who cried out from their bondage.

God spoke light into their chaos and rescued them from the darkness.

In Bethlehem, God hovered and brooded over a stable. God spoke light into the chaos of the world. The light became flesh and the darkness trembled.

In you, the Light dwells and moves. May you know the peace of Christ that dwells within you. Share that peace and the world shall see the Light .
