Changes

Is it me or is this year flying by? This Sunday, March 13, Daylight Savings Time begins! The following Sunday, March 20, is the first day of spring. The darkness of winter is quickly giving way to the light of spring. I am caught a little off guard every year by this sudden change. Just when it seems winter will never end, this happens. Spring!

Easter is approaching. On that day we will celebrate the miracle of the resurrection! Just when it seemed that darkness would rule forever, the Light entered the world and changed everything. The resurrection caught the disciples off guard. Just when they thought the darkness had won, this happened. Resurrection!

Maybe you know someone who is experiencing a “long winter” personally. Maybe that someone is you. We all walk through these dark times at some point in our lives. But, if we are willing to trust, willing to allow God to console us and guide our path, we will see the Light break through our pain. Usually when we least expect it. Just when we think there’s no reason to hope, this happens. Rebirth!

See you Sunday!
